Amazon never talks about the actual numbers of Kindles it's selling, presumably because it's not selling enough to turn into a PR-iffic blurb. But here's an interesting estimation from Silicon Alley Insider:
According to Asian tech pub Digitimes, the Taiwanese company that makes the display module for the Kindle and other e-readers is shipping 60,000-80,000 of them monthly and expects that number to hit 120,000 by the second half of the year. (via IndieKindle)
